Missguided Winters

****

As winter set in England this year, I saw many people moaning and getting down about the harsh weather and the blistering complications that accompany it.

Still, I couldn't love it more.

Sure, the weather outside is frightful, but you really just have to embrace it. Chapped lips, cold noses and crazy windswept hair is definitely worth putting up with for a beaut Toffee Almond Cream Bailey's (eggnog latte for those not yet old enough!) by a toasty warm fire and a classic black and white film on. Or if you can't do fully black and white, opt for Wizard of Oz and just put up with it for a bit of the film.

Another of my favourite things about winter is most definitely the clothes. The days get cold and dark, as a result, people flock toward the glitziest glamour they can find to keep the shine through the dusky days. These past few winters I've noticed a particularly decadent feel to fashion and I just love all the sparkles, tassels sequins and glitter. I think a little sprinkle of glitter always makes life a bit more positive somehow.

I was very excited to see Missguided's new collection this Winter... some gorgeous chunky knits, luxe velvet and shimmering statement pieces. Touching on a bit of a retro feel with stripes and dogtooth patterns, I loved this mix-up! Here are some of my favourite pieces from the season. Of course I had to pair most looks with some beautiful vintage faux Furs, luxury and warmth?! Here please.
Everything is Missguided (apart from Furs and shoes).
